Henna art, also known as mehndi, is a traditional form of temporary body art created using a natural dye derived from the henna plant. Our henna artists apply beautiful designs directly onto the skin, creating intricate patterns that gradually develop into a reddish-brown stain.
From delicate florals and elegant swirls to bold, detailed designs, henna is a beautiful addition to birthday parties, weddings, festivals, cultural celebrations, and special events!
Henna tattoos typically last 1–2 weeks, although some designs may remain visible longer depending on skin type, placement, and aftercare.
Henna stains generally last longest on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. Areas that experience frequent washing or friction may fade more quickly.
At Krys Kreations, we use natural henna paste sourced from GOPI HENNA, made without synthetic dyes or artificial preservatives.
Our henna paste contains:
Organic Rajasthani henna powder
Fresh lemon juice and water
Organic eucalyptus essential oil
Organic cane sugar
Although natural henna is generally well tolerated, skin reactions are still possible, especially for individuals with sensitivities or allergies to certain ingredients. Guests with known allergies or sensitive skin should consult with our artists before application. We also do not recommend applying henna to irritated or broken skin.
Henna paste typically begins drying within 15–30 minutes, depending on the thickness of the design and surrounding conditions. However, allowing the paste to remain on the skin longer can help produce a deeper, longer-lasting stain.
For the best results, avoid touching or smudging your design while the paste is drying and follow your artist's aftercare instructions.
Proper aftercare can help your henna design develop a richer color and last longer!
For the best results:
-Allow the henna paste to dry without touching or smudging it.
-Leave the paste on for several hours, as directed by your artist.
-Gently scrape or brush away the dried paste rather than immediately washing it off.
-Avoid excessive water exposure immediately after removal.
-Minimize harsh soaps, exfoliation, and frequent scrubbing to help preserve your design.
Henna stains often appear light orange immediately after paste removal and gradually darken to a reddish-brown shade over the following 24–48 hours.
Henna art is a wonderful addition to many different celebrations, including birthday parties, bridal showers, weddings, baby showers, cultural celebrations, festivals, corporate events, and community gatherings.
Whether you're planning a small gathering or a large celebration, our professional henna artists create beautiful temporary designs that guests can enjoy long after the event ends.
